Q:I saw a complaint about the back jets being too high up the back wall and would spray and get things wet when you lean forward . Has anybody else had that problem. Have the jets been fixed for this problem?

          Answer This Question

A:  The jets in the back of the tub are designed to be therapeutic. If the water is above the jets, they would only be spraying within the waterline of the whirlpool Sincerely American Standard technical team.

Q:I want to purchase this tub but I'm worried about pump access. If installed with drain on left, the pump will be facing the shower unit (no access). Turned around, access will be available through an adjacent wall but I'd have to incur an additional cost to relocate the drain. Now, I understand that the pump is always located on the opposites side oft the drain. However, can it be removed (detached and mounted elsewhere)? For example, on the floor somewhere within the tub frame (cradle)?

            Answer This Question

A:  The pump is designed to be located at the end of the tub attached to the tub so that it fills and drains properly. Any alterations will void the warranty of the tub.
