    Q:I have one of these. There is a water leak from the cold water handle when it is turned on. I need to replace the stem, but I do not know where to get one and be sure it is the correct stem. Any help would be appreciated.

    A:  I have not had this problem. From the pictures it looks like your water has degraded the cartridge and it needs to be replaced. Cleaning it might help, hard to tell from here.

              Q:How do you remove the valve? I'm trying to replace one, but after removing the handle, the screw, the adapter, and the valve nut, it still doesn't budge.

              A:  It will either thread out or pull out. If it is not coming out try putting some white vinegar around them or if you are going to replace them you can use some WD40.

                      Q:I installed 3 of these about a year ago. Now two of them leak through the center hole where the speed connect pop up assembly enters the sink. I have young kids, so there is often standing water around the faucet, which leaks through. Should I reinstall them with plumbers putty on the bottom of the faucet assembly to stop the leak?

                      A:  Loosen the faucet from below, apply the plumbers putty around the faucet and then tighten it from below. That should stop the leaks.

                        A:  No, do not use putty. Use the seal that came with it. Or Silicone Cauk under ring.

                          A:  Re-installing the faucets with plumbers putty between the base of the faucet and the deck of the lavatory will prevent water from seeping under the lavatory.
