A:  Yes, it can be installed without the tub spout but it should be purchased as a set.

    A:  Cyndi, Thanks for the question! Yes the American Standard Commercial system can be installed without the tub spout. It would still be included in this kit, but all you would have to do is have your plumber plug the bottom port of the valve. Love American Standard Consumer Connection Team.
