Q:does this pedestal have an open back?

A:  Yes, the pedestal does have an open back.....The sink basin itself does not have an open back. I would like to add that I love this sink. It has a great functional look, is well made and is solid, solid, solid construction!

      A:  Thanks for asking. Not since the original one arrived with the mark etc. This was the replacement, and seems just fine!

        A:  The sink is still in perfect condition. It's in a basement powder room so not used as much as others in the house but we've not noticed any defects.

          A:  Cracks that appear on the inside of the bowl are generally attributed to the drain having been over tightened. Sincerely American Standard Technical Team.

                              A:  Love this sink! Modern look - very sleek and cool. Got the single whole faucet and it’s easy to clean and beautiful. Would definitely buy again if I had another powder room or small bathroom.
