Q:I have a 10x14 area rug, do I use the same size for a pad?
by|Nov 24, 2023
1 Answer
Answer This Question

A:  Yes, you can trim the rug pad then to fit as needed based on the true actual size of your area rug purchase. You want your area rug to lay flat on the edges which usually requires a trim of 1" off each side of the rug pad.

Q:Is it suitable to use as bathroom carpet?

      Answer This Question

A:  It doesn’t slip but I think a big pad is unnecessary for a bathroom..not sure about the effect of steam on it as well.  Honestly, I think a better choice is a thin rubbery type that you can cut..it would prevent slipping and it would be much less expensive..just a note..I have this pad under a thick wool rug in my living room and it is great
