      Q:All our windows were replaced about 7 rears ago and we have been very happy the only problem 2 out of 15 windows that were replaced have clouded up. How do we replace these to standard lower windows under the lifetime warranty? Thanks

      A:  To file a warranty claim go to www.americancraftsmanwindows.com Select Resources, then Warranty, then click the Learn More button in the American Craftsman box and finally Submit Warranty Request. You will need the numbers off the products to complete the claim.

            A:  You can place a special order at your local Home Depot for the mullion. It would take up 2 inches of the opening space. You can also special order twin units already joined at your local Home Depot.

              A:  The size from edge of J channel to edge of J channel on the exterior would be 39.25 x 42.25.

                A:  The window should stay up once you have opened it. IF it keeps sliding down you want to make sure the picot bar at the bottom of the sash is engaged in the balance mechanism in the track that hold the weight of the sash up.
