A:  Lift the planter out by the handles, and pour water into the reservoir until the gauge registers the proper level; then, return the planter.

A:  Hi Xtine, Yes, there is a tube that connects to the liner bucket. When you start using the planter we recommend watering the entire soil and plant for about 3-4 weeks. This will give the plants a chance for root development. After 3 weeks, you can water through the tube which where the water will go directly to the water reservoir. A:  Hi, Thanks for asking. We recommend watering from the top for the first 3-4 weeks until the roots grow down. Following this it is best to water using the fill port so that water fills the reservoir and feeds the plants/flowers with water from the bottom up. Thanks, Team Algreen

A:  This planter can be water normally like any other planter, at the top to wet the soil. Any excess water will drain to the reservoir and the water level indicator will tell you when the water is low and needs more.
