A:  Hi Poodle, thank you for your inquiry. Yes this can be used for outdoor projects but we recommend painting it with a protective layer since outdoor elements can affect the wood.

          Answer This Question

A:  Why you would want to use this insanely priced lumber I do not understand. However, this is simple mathematics. Each board is 9.25" x 96". With me so far? Multiply those and you come up with 888 square inches per board. Divide by 144 (the number of square inches in a square foot) and you come up with 6.17 square feet per board. Your wall is 10 x 10. You just multiply those, ten times ten equals one hundred. Divide 100 by the 6.17 square feet each board covers and you come up with 16.22 boards required. Round that up to 17 because if you round down you'll have some wall not covered. They only sell whole boards. Seventeen of these at $63.44 each (!) multiplies out to $1,078.48 plus tax. (!!) That's just pine boards, no installation. You should find something else to put on your wall. This wood is simply not worth the price.
