          Q:Can this be used in a small detached ADU/Garage Conversion? The original un-insulated vaulted ceiling looks nice but it can get very hot in there. Will this help to keep it cooler in summer? What about in winter when we want to keep the heat in?

          A:  it will work, but you'll be looking up at a hole. this has no damper, so cold air will sink down through it in the winter.
