      Q:Does the base have three holes for anchoring to three already installed screws in concrete pad? Are the holes about 12 inches apart? This means a lot to me because I don't want to change the concrete foundation.

      A:  The holes are roughly 7.5-8" apart, so you would need to pour a new concrete pad.

        A:  Hi Lucy, this lamp post is not solar powered. It is hard wired and I had to plug it into an outdoor outlet that I have. I connected a timer so that it comes on automatically at dusk. Hope this helps.
