A:  Sorry not sure what is white food. I did put in bread and made my own croutons. shelves are not adjustable, but shelves can be left out to put in larger items. I hope this helps.

A:  Yes, comes with several mesh drying sheets (I think four?) and one solid flat sheet (for fruit leather etc)

A:  Hello, Thank you for contacting Aroma Housewares. Yes it would be possible to leave the unit on for a longer duration in order to make black garlic. As this is an analog unit it will stay on until you shut the unit off. A:  The product was shipped to me via ups which does ship internationally .

A:  The only part,s of the dehydrator that are metal is the rear section which include's the fan . The 6 tray's and the sheet's that go with them are plastic .

A:  The trays are not stainless steel. The trays a PP plastic which are BPA free.

A:  All are BPA-free plastic and must be washed by hand.
