A:  Neither, it's referred to as Mud, the actual name is Quikrete Floor Mud, here is the data sheet, it's made specifically for the that job and it exceeds 5000 psi compressive strength. A:  Hello, The washer at the rear of the valve stems or diverter is probably worn. Without knowing the brand and makeup of your shower it's difficult to make a specific suggestion. In general however the problem can be usually solved by replacing the washer. You'll need to turn off the water to the shower, remove the valve stem, and then replace the washer at the rear. I usually recommend removing the valve and bringing it with you to the store. You can have a small assortment pack of washers on hand when you remove the stem and take care of the problem on the spot. I hope this helps.
