A: If low speed is not desired, disconnect the low speed wiring to your control. Do not modify the cord.

Q:The picture shows 220v plug but description states 115v. Is there a 220v cord available

A: The picture shown does look like a 220V, but is in fact a 115V. If you need a 220V, you will need a Dial part #7547, which can be special ordered at the Home Depot Pro Desk.

Q:I understand the extra ground but I was wondering if there was a converter to change this to a normal 3 pronged outlet?

A: No. This plug is for a 2 speed motor so you need all the wires to connect the 2 speed motor to the high/low speed switch.

Q:to the power source, and to the control unit of the two speed motor. I understand power out to the source that in this case runs to an outlet that is a toggle lite switch
