Q:I have brass Champion auto converter valves. Whenever I have a problem with one I would buy a rebuild package. I have never seen a rebuild package for Orbits. Can this be done?

Answer This Question
A: I have bought rebuild kits several times. As far as I can tell, the pre 1980 Champion valves are no longer supported with replacement parts. The common kit for older valves that is still available is RK-25C. There is also a RK-26C kit for the newer versions. I would search those numbers and try to determine if they cover your valves.

Answer This Question
A: Yes, it will work. You may have to remove the anti-siphon vent cap during installation, but you would most likely have had to remove that cap (in order to remove your old converter or flow control assembly) anyway.
