Q:Am I doing something wrong? This thing either grabs the wall and won't slide easily, or if I lighten the pressure ever so slightly it will try to flip around or swivel in whatever direction it feels like.

A:  Yes, the best angle that I found was to work at a 85° angle and you will avoid grabbing the wall. Your stick should be 5ft in length so it can function properly if your stick is longer than that it will tend to do all the above mentioned.

A:  I'm assuming that you are using the right grade of drywall sandpaper, so that shouldn't be an issue in whether it "grabs" or not. It took me a bit of experimenting to find the right "touch," but once I found that, I didn't have any problems. You may also want to alter the angle of the pole to see what is most effective in applying the proper amount of pressure. Good luck.

A:  YES. I used Linzer 4 ft. Wood Extension Pole with a threaded Metal Tip which fits all standard paint and household tools. Size: 0.7 In.

A:  Yes, it will screw into a standard paint pole. That is how I used it to lightly sand semi gloss walls before painting.

                  Answer This Question

A:  Yes, as long as the wooden pole is threaded. I used one from a dollar store mop. I had to purchase an extendible painter's pole to reach up a 12' high wall.

                  by|Jul 10, 2019

A:  Only if the pole has matching threads on the end.

                  by|May 6, 2023

A:  I used a plastic pole I also purchased at the store but a wooden pole can be use if it has the the proper threading on the end.
