Q:Is this permeable like newspaper, that can be used for decomposition in sheet mulching?

Answer This Question
A: It is recycled kraft paper that can be used as a biodegradable weed barrier in gardens, and, I do believe, for what you are wishing to accomplish, according to the manufacturer.
3. PREPARE THE GROUND
If you’re interested in planting immediately, you can either do this by pulling up sod or lightly tilling to loosen the soil. We recommend laying down a weed barrier paper over grass clippings and applying compost to kill the grass and prevent weeds from growing. The paper will decompose over the course of a few months and will result in rich soil ready to plant in. We suggest using rosin paper, builder’s paper, X-Paper, or newspaper.

A: No, you are looking for Ram board. It’s thicker and will work fine when it’s a little damp.

A: I don't think so, not as thick as some I have seen. I'd opt for plastic instead or find a thicker paper
by|May 8, 2023
A: Definitely not. I would think it would rip and tear if gotten wet and walked on. Paint is only splattered periodically on it when using it and is thicker in consistency so it doesn’t penetrate like water would.

A: Sure, why not? I"m not sure what your reason would be though, it'd just be like painting a brown paper bag from the supermarket.

A: You can use kids paint on this paper, I did not use regular indoor or outdoor paint on it.
