A: There are no harmful chemical additives to the Red Landscape Bulk Mulch. While it is considered safe for dogs, we recommend that supervision be present to make sure dogs to not ingest the mulch, which could cause internal problems due to the shape and sharpness of the mulch pieces. As always, the safest thing to do is ask your veterinarian for recommendations.
