Seriously: BIG LETTERS to avoid irritating your customerrs. The rest of the questions prove my point.

Q:will the hole punch work on 1/2 and 3/4 pipe? It looks like there is a blue insert if removable would allow for larger diameter pipe

Answer This Question
A: Our 16-035R deluxe hole punch is designed for ½ inch poly tubing with a max outside diameter of .710” unfortunately ¾ inch poly tubing (.940” OD) would have too large of an outside diameter for this hole punch. A: Have no idea but will open a hole big enough to install the drippers as it comes. I understand you can buy other sizes of pins to get bigger holes.

A: 1/8"

A: I am not exactly sure, I have only used the 1/4" punch, to connect the 1/4" lines to the 1/2" tubing & a select few on the 5/8" tubing, as well. To do the 5/8" tubing, just slide that little blue piece in the 1/2 circle area out, it will fit the 5/8" then.

Q:Does this work on 5/8" tubing too?

Answer This Question
A: It should with no problem. I would recommend punching holes while tubing is cold. After it is in the sun, it (the tubing) gets pliable and is harder to punch. But on the other hand the 1/4 inch tubing is much easier to connect to fittings if it does sit in the sun.

A: Yes... there is a blue insert (look the the jaws in the picture). With the insert in place it will do 1/2" and 5/8". Remove the insert and it will do 3/4".
It easily punched a hole in the heavy wall "funny pipe" (which is 5"8"). Wish I had one of these ten years ago.

A: It is designed for 1/2" & 3/4" with the removal of the spacer. I believe it could work on 5/8", but have not tried it. If I were doing a bunch I would get it, try it and if it did not work, return it.

A: Yes, remove/slide out the little blue piece, that you see in the 1/2 circle area. When you do that, it fits the 5/8" hose, then.
