A:  Your 70-lbs Lab should be comfortable nesting in/on the large size but, if s/he tends to stretch-out (rather than curl) it may be a tight fit.

A:  No they won’t fir on it. I’ve got an 80 lbs. lab and she uses it for a pillow. A lot smaller than it seems
