A:  Hello Raul. As long as the downlight you use in conjunction with this housing is dimmable, you can use this with a dimmer switch. The housing itself does not determine compatibility with dimmer switches.

This listing is for the housing only, since there are so many types of trims that work with certain types of bulbs, we want shoppers to be able to use whatever trim they want to with this housing to get the look they want.
