Q:Is there an adhesive or sealant to get a watertight seal on the outlet adapters? I don’t think the twist on alone will give a watertight seal. The box is made of polypropylene, and it’s tough to find an adhesive or sealant that will adhere to it.

Q:Should the drain pipe connected to it be perforated or solid (without holes)?
by|Jan 17, 2024

Answer This Question
A: This would depend on the application: If you would like some of the water to percolate into surrounding good permeable soil then the Perforated pipe can be used, if you are trying to convey the water to a discharge location then the solid pipe would be used, again just depending on what you would like the system to do for you, but either will work. It really depends on the type of soil that exists around and under your pipe.
