A:  Absolutely Not Plastic! The instructions call the cap a “palm rest” and it is a cast aluminum alloy. The adjustment is solid brass. There’s nothing made of plastic on this plane.

A:  The handle is most definitely NOT plastic. The product is an all-metal design, and (I believe) the handle is cast steel, painted black. Awesome product.

A:  It was on Fathers day promotion with a $10.00 discount even though Home Depot could find the promotional discount. Amazon had it at $71.21 with $10.00 off at check out with the promotion. Called Customer service at Home Depot & they discounted it to match Amazon's price with the $10.00 discount. So I purchased it from Home Depot. Rickey
