    Answer This Question

    A:  Yes

    by|May 5, 2023

A:  Hi, you would have to contact your local home depot to see what they carry of that in stock. Or if not if they may be able to special order it, as not all products are available at all stores. and the selection of what they carry is also determined by location and availability. So it is what your local home depot's distributor carries that determines what is available. Price is also determined by location and availability. But also by manufacturer, which will vary from store to store.

A:  It will have a B side and a C side the B side will be a nicer finish then the C side.

      by|May 4, 2023

A:  It means that one side is grade B and the other is C. It's supposed to have B side defects filled and the board sanded smooth. None of the produce I got was even close to that. And, the middle layer is grade C or worse, so if you need rigidity or strength it's not there. It's okay as a facing, where appearance isn't important, but not where structural strength is needed. If you need it for underlayment, look at the underlayment sheets, instead. They're far more rigid and perfectly smooth.

          Answer This Question

A:  Actual thickness is 11/32". (The 3/8" is the size-category, or nominal size. The .47" is simply an error in the description.)

              Answer This Question

A:  The entire stand should at least be made of wood that is at least this thick.

              by|May 4, 2023

A:  I personally would recommend 11/32 or 3/8 for more stability in your design

              by|May 4, 2023

A:  1/4" should be good enough

                by|May 5, 2023

A:  2x4 studs and some 3 inch decking screws should do the trick. I suggest getting the screws that use a T25 bit and forget Phillips head screws even exist. I hope this helps.

A:  If you prime it and paint it, then it's suitable as overhang soffit, porch ceiling, garage paneling, etc. But it's not suited for prolonged, direct exposure to the elements -- even if primed and painted. It's not suitable as structural sheathing, either.

A:  Plywood weight varies a little by species, moisture content, and glue content, but 11/32" (3/8") plywood will weigh about 30 pounds per 4x8 sheet, slightly less than one pound per square foot.
