- High quality Wooster brush

I'm a huge fan of Wooster painting tools. I love their roller cages and extension poles, and have several of their full size brushes.
These short handle brushes are really neat, and great for tight places. I was surprised to see that the small handle is made out of a flexible rubber, so they are very comfortable to hold, and the handle flexes to fit to your hand.
Most importantly, the bristles are the very high quality Chinex, so I don't have any doubts about its ability to produce a smooth finish.
The one issue I had was trying to understand the difference between the three versions. I ordered the Chinex and Nylon/Polyester versions to compare, as there was no description of the differences on the Home Depot site or the Wooster web site.
Here is what I have been able to tell. The edge of the Chinex brush is a very straight cut and much less feathered. It seems to be slightly firmer than the Nylon / Polyester version. And unlike the photo on the Home Depot site, the package on the one I received seems to imply that it is better for exterior painting (it lists Exterior first, and is in all caps), although it does list interior as well.
The Nylon / Polyester bristles feel slightly softer in terms of flex, and the edge of the brush is much more feathered. The package of the Nylon / Polyester brush lists interior first, in all caps, so it seems that it is intended for interior finish work.
I don't have the Nylon (green) version, but based on the product description, that one is intended for lower viscosity finishes, presumably like a stain or thinner paint.
The small size of this brush will definitely come in handy.
