Answer This Question

A:  I am using these now. Answer to you question... YES!!! I went on and used what I had. I will be looking for rust resistant. I don't want to have to go back and replace all these I have used, but got a feeling that's what I'll have to do.

These staples were very practical for my application…I was installing g French drains and used these to pin the fabric when lining the ditch. Worked great and I had enough for all 400’ of trench. The. Once filled with stone I was able to reuse the staples to close up the fabric around the stone.

      Holds but short
The pins work well for setting the weed mat down but, you have to cover the weed mat quickly. I use weed in my garden to stop weeds and grass from taking over. I have to use old boards and timber to stop it lifting from the wind. The pin don’t hold well in tilled soil. But they will hold long enough to get it in place.

Flimsy and rusted through in less than a week
These are a giant waste of money. They're so flimsy and thin that they require a lot of manipulation just to put in the ground and get them to stay in place. Every single one rusted through in less than a week.

if you are looking for super thin stakes that don't go far enough into the dirt and bend at the slightest tap then these might work for you

We’ve used this product to do many landscaping projects. Most recently we used it on our new pond to hold the pond liner in place on the berm area.
