A:  Hi Joe! Thank you for reaching out. The Sharpie Oil-Based Paint Markers with a Fine Point are specifically designed for making scrapbooks, posters, and window designs. While they excel on various surfaces, we do not recommend using them on fabric. Great for drawing
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the Sharpie fine point oil based markers for my son who is an artist. He has worked with pencils, gel pens, fine point markers, alcohol markers, acrylic paints, and now watercolor paint, so I thought I would see how he liked these in comparison to what he's already worked with. Needless to say he was very impressed with how smooth the wrote, and how easily he was able to get fine line details into his drawings. Looks like I'm going to be buying a lot more, in a lot of different colors.

            work Great!!!!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like these paint markers. I like to get my grandkids their own drink glasses so they aren't always fighting over which one's are theirs. I've tried sharpies and different kinds of paint and it always wears off within a couple of days. I tried one of these pens and wrote a name on the glass and it's been a couple of weeks and the name is still on there as dark as when I first wrote the name on the glass. No signs of fading at all. The dry quick. Since that worked, I can now start making glasses and drawing pictures and painting them on the glasses. The kids also use them for coloring rocks for the flower bed. I am completely impressed on how well these sharpies work. I would definitely recommend these pens to anyone that likes doing crafts. The fine tips also make it easy to do fine detail work. They give you smooth lines. These will be added to my art supplies.

              Steady flow!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are so handy for so many things and I have so many craft ideas just flowing out of my head. Before I start a more detailed project I wanted to get the hang of the paint flow and practice first. I like how they kept the concept of these sharpies simple. Not to bulky and easy to hold and grip while writing. It took a bit of shaking and pressing down to get the paint flow going and I kept the package and a piece of cardboard handy to lay my sharpie on in between colors. I got the set of five and each sharpie was individually wrapped. So to get started I had some planter tags I wanted to place in my garden. Just thought it would be a cute added touch. I tried all of the colors but I didn't use the white since my tags are white. I really liked how I had control over my writing and the paint flowed steadily out without dripping and dried almost instantly. Also the paint was much brighter and bold than I thought it would be. Now that my first experience went so well I will definitely use these for the rest of my craft projects. I want to try some mugs next as gifts. I highly recommend these paints for drying fast and water resistant!

                Great quality!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My crafty daughter loves these! There seems to be endless possibilities for art or writing on anything. She drew and colored a flag onto a wood panel, the color was fabulous...there wasn't any bleed, the colors were bright and beautiful, and they had a nice glossy sheen to them.

Love this color in oil sharpie. Find it rather ridiculous that I have to special order a certain color in a sharpie, however well eorth it. I have come to use Oil based Sharpies in my paintings, they come in different points, the only thing that bothered me about this certain transaction was that I ordered 3 markers and when they arrived 2 of the casings were dented in.

                  Work well
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] SHARPIE FN 5PK PRIM work well. I enjoy using these sharpies when I have something fancy to write or a thick material to use. These are the ones that you shake and press down for the ink to come out. My kids and I used them for a red, white & blue theme.

Great for writing on non-standard surfaces
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used these in a few different scenarios. I first tried writing on sheet metal for labeling ports on electronics, to which it worked extremely well. Seemed to dry very quick, very vivid colors, and didn't skimp on the "ink" that it left behind. If you are trying to fill in a large area with one of these markers you have to remember to press the tip in to allow more of the color to flow out of the tip. I then tried using these markers to label some plastic containers that I use for storing misc hardware, on the clear plastic and the red rubber lids, and it seemed to once again do phenomenal. The only other thing I, accidentally, noticed, was that it was great at not chipping away or scratching. Accidentally scratched some of my writing with my keys and it didn't scratch away at the color at all.

                      love me a sharpie!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a Sharpie addict I love this new option, they are fun to use and the oil base opens up a variety of new use options. Writes like a medium tip Sharpie but has the benefits of a paint pen. Would love to see a wide variety of color options in this pen style!

                        Love these
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am honestly amazed at how bright the colors on this 5 pack of sharpie markers look. The black is deep and dark. The blue is just plain solid looking. The red is rich and powerful. The white is a bright white and the yellow makes my Brazilian flag stand out! I am no artist, but I have gotten compliments on the colors of my work. Maybe if I improve my skills, they will match the vibrant colors. I wish these markers could help improve my art skills!

                          So versatile!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am really loving these Sharpie paint pens! My favorite use so far has been to write on the top of my spice jars! I get spices from a company that has jars with black lids. Where they sit in my spice cabinet is hard to see the labels so I used the while pen to write the contents on top! I thought it would be hard to write with a paint pen, but it couldn't be easier! No different than writing with a marker! The will write on anything too! Plastic, glass even wood! My husband has been stealing them for his woodworking projects. I used one to make a birthday card for him, and have used them many other ways around the house! Much easier to use than other paint pens i have tried, and not nearly as messy! Really, there is no mess to speak of! Love them!
