I purchased this rug in the Spruce with Ivory Border. The rug in person didn't exactly match the picture, so unfortunately I had to return it. I think they must photograph these rugs with a super high powered flash in florescent lighting. The Ivory border doesn't not translate in the on-line pics, I will try to describe it. - The border part is beige and grey with the design outlined in yellow/gold. I felt like it looked sort of strange with the green in the main body of the rug. Overall, the rug was just too light colored and didn't match with the colors I was looking for. The main green part is sort of a seafoam/aqua color. The design in the green area was subtle and sort of embossed-looking. (really pretty, and in my opinion, wouldn't interfere with any other patterns you have going on)
The rug was very thick, soft and substantial. It did shed slightly... for people who are having issues with these rugs shedding, I would recommend taking it easy with the aggressive vacuums. I have a Dyson DC28 Animal that I actually *don't* use on my wool rugs, even on the thick pile setting. There's no need to ever use such a powerful vac on a delicate wool rug. (I have a central vac system also, and I use the hard floor attachment on wool rugs. Gets them clean without ripping them apart)
Hope this helps someone.
