Having bought some past carpets from this company and being absolutely delighted with the quality of them, I was surprised and very disappointed at the quality of this rug. The most annoying aspects are the turned up corners that refuse to flatten out. Despite laying it down flat wrong side up for a couple of days and laying some heavy furniture on the corners, as soon as I positioned it right side up, all four corners curled up at least two inches at each corner. I again put heavy weights at each corner but a few hours later after removing the weights, the corners curled up again. Next I rolled the rug up, and yes with the curls underneath and tied some string at the ends. Again after a few hours I checked and the same result, the same four corner curling.
The rug is quite thin with no cushion effect at all and lies without any raised parts. I vacuumed it twice but was not happy with all the strands/fibers that were still evident, see photo of corner to see what I mean.
Having said that I do like the feel and design of this wool rug. But the curling up corners are a definite negative.
