Q:Can this be used directly on partical-board subfloor seams? The seams of our subfloor rub together and drop sawdust in our basement. I?m debating on taping seams with this or duct tape.

Save time and do Not buy this product!
This tape is not worth the money, buy anything but this tape.
At first it was difficult to stick to the surface as other reviews point out but we got it to work.
The problem came when we wanted to remove the paper and tape, it left large portions of the adhesive layer on our new vinyl plank flooring especially in high traffic areas and was extremely difficult to remove.
If you value your clean up time use something different.

Does not stay down
This tape sticks at first but lifts just when you need it to seal out debris.

Cheap Tape will come up and not stick
Terrible product do not recommend. Tape does not stick very well and you will find yourself stepping on it multiple times to try and keep it down. I’ve had much more success with painters tape. There is really no difference this tape isn’t very thick or durable anyway.

Did not stick to Ram Board
Bought this along with some Ram Board. Even though I was using it inside in a climate controlled room the tape kept peeling off the board after a couple hours. Switched to generic white 3M masking tape and it adhered to the ram board just fine.

Do not tape to floors
Should have read tape. Do not tape directly to the floor. Nightmare to remove.
