Q:Can this be taken on a plane?

A: Since it can’t be shipped by air the obvious answer is no it should not be taken on a plane due to the battery restrictions of causing a fire onboard. This product is NOT available in Hawaii for I assume that reason as well.

A: Hello, Rosmond - Yes, this battery can be used with the RYOBI USB lithium rotary tool. To change the battery, first unscrew and remove the battery cap. Remove the battery from the product and insert the new battery. Next, place the cap over the battery and push it down until the cap meets the threads at the end of the tool. Great battery/improvement over standard batteries

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great battery that is an improvement over the standard Ryobi battery that comes with USB lithium tools. The battery tester function is a real game changer. It helps me know how much charges in my battery and if I should bring extra batteries when using my USB lithium tools. These batteries feel well-made, and I’m very pleased with them

Keeps You Working

I have several Ryobi tools that utilize the small USB Lithium 2.0 Ah Rechargeable Battery. As I use these tools quite frequently around the house, I decided I needed an extra battery to keep things moving along in case I run out of juice before I'm through with my project. These little batteries pack a lot of power into a small package. Battery life is generally quite good and recharging is fast and efficient. Charging is accomplished via a USB-c cable connected to any charger (not included). A charge indicator on the battery keeps you up to date on how much power you have left. One nice added feature is that these batteries can be used to recharge other devices such as tablets and cell phones. I like this line of USB Lithium tools and batteries - highly recommended!

Lightweight and packs a punch!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this so whenever I was in a pinch or not home I can have this with me and help me charge up. I travel a lot as a musician and sometimes outlets get tricky on the road or airports. I was amazed how fast this charged my phone and still have juice to charge some of my watch too. I like that its rechargeable.

RYOBI lithium battery

I have quite a few Ryobi tools in my shed and toolbox so I know they make a quality product. I recently picked up one of their small, but powerful hand held flashlights and have been equally impressive with their “smaller sized” tools. I added this lithium battery as a back-up for this flashlight as well as for future Ryobi tools. Fits my flashlight perfectly. The description says that you can use this battery to charge your mobile devices. This is a nice bonus feature, though it requires a USB-C cord or adapter to use.
