Especially for the price, this generator is a great value. Mine will never see gasoline. A couple of things to keep in mind if you are hooking this up to your home's natural gas. 1. check on your pressure. Call your NG provider, either low .5 lbs (7 inches water column) or high 1.5 lbs (14" water column). you will need to get the right regulator for the unit. They used to come from Home Depot with the high pressure regulator, not sure now. Contact the manufacturer, speak to Lafayette, he is very knowledgeable and will get you the right regulator if you need it. Poweland sent me the low pressure one, no charge. I swapped it out and returned the other one with a pre paid label.. 2. 3/4" ID hose feed. There is a guy on Ebay who makes these up and sells them. If you call him he can set you up with the length you need plus all the right fittings as well. I understand that these will work with 1/2" lines, but that is only hear/say for me. If you want to hook it up to your house and do these two things, the unit will start and run flawlessly on NG. Oh Yea, if you are using propane make sure your regulator is 10-15lbs. Home Depot sells one that is 10lbs fixed, I bought that one and it works fine.
