Easy to install..must use cut pieces of floor with tongue in addition to dead blow blocks to hammer pieces in place. The installation kit spacers are worthless in the install kits. Use a piece of the flooring with the tongue removed and screw them to the baseboards or walls with drywall screws.

A gorgeous floor after installation which I did 800 sq. ft. with a friends help. It did help he is a flooring contractor and has experience with all types of floating floors. In spite of all the videos showing an attractive woman in short shorts and a low cut top putting this stuff down this is demanding work. Up and down innumerable times, bent over on your knees, twisting and turning, and occasionally using foul language takes its toll. It really is a two person job. I went over an existing hideous tile floor that was less than perfect but within the Pergo specs which are very tight. I followed the instructions to the letter in particular allowing the flooring to acclimate in the sealed coffins until I was ready to actually put them down. We used the alternate tapping method described in the Pergo instructions and it went together perfectly and very tight. The primary method described by Pergo is impossible to work with unless your room is the size of a phone booth. You absolutely have to have the proper high quality tools. A heavy white mallet, heavy steel pulling bar and a solid tapping block that is going to take a beating. I used wood shims that I made from 3/8" pine since the plastic ones are a pain. A multimate oscillating power tool or equivalent for undercutting door jams is a must. This product is tough to cut even with a 15 amp Dewalt chop saw and a new blade. The dust produced by the cuts is like drywall dust that is rather oily and sticks to everything. A jig saw with a new fine tooth blade is a must. I checked every plank before it went down and if it had even a hint of damage it went to the return pile. Over order by at least 10-15% and have it shipped to the store. UPS is brutal with this heavy stuff. I ordered a pallet and there was still a few damaged planks even though the cases looked good. If the plastic wrap that encases the planks is torn or compromised reject that case. The planks must remain in the sealed boxes until it is time to lay them. I pulled from 5-6 boxes at a time to get color variation.
