- 19 of these vents were installed when our house was built and they worked great for the first 6 years. Now, 9 of them no longer function properly. They remain closed all the time. I have removed them and tried to adjust and lubricate but it did not change anything. After 6 years I have to replace at least 9 and wonder if the others will stop functioning also. Any suggestions?

- I bought and installed 5 of these vents last winter. Two of them have failed in the closed position in less than a year.
