I bought four of these valves to go on my pond filter system. They are expensive but when considering they are a double union and a valve they are worth the price. I have had them installed for a few months now and they are working great. They have saved a lot of space compared to the valves and unions they replaced. A big time savings whenever I need to disconnect one of the pond filters for cleaning. The valves turn easily and the unions don't leak with just hand tightening. I would buy them again.

Not True: Full port allowing maximum flow and minimum pressure drop or turbulence
The connector that seals to the valve is smaller than 1 1/4" so a 1 1/4" Jet Swet tool will not pass through it. I'm sure that the Qualilty Insurance Inspectors will catch and correct this manufacturing error at some point. The valve will still work ok because the restriction is only about 1/8" smaller than it should be, but that is just enough to not allow your tool to pass through it. If you are installing on a free-flowing well head like i was....the work a round is to glue a thread adapter to the well head, add telflon tape and pipe dope, then remove the Swet Jet, then with water spraying everywhere open the valve and screw it on to the adapter then shut off the vavle ....fyi...Thanks...Charles

Thank you very much for the feedback on our T/S-603 1-1/4 in. PVC FPT x FPT True Union Ball Valve. We are sorry it did not work in your application. The T/S-603 is made of PVC (plastic) and therefore not compatible at all with copper solder systems or any tools, components, and/or accessories used in solder applications, such as the “Jet Swet”. The Legend T/S-603 1-1/4 in. PVC FPT x FPT True Union Ball Valve is in fact a “full port” valve by industry standards (MSS SP 110). Although, the internal diameter (ID) of the valve is smaller than the ID of the tubing, this is allowed per the standard and necessary to in order to make the valve body thick and strong enough to handle the stresses of threaded connections. Works well and looks good! I used it on an aquarium return PVC pipes and it's much cheaper than the valves sold on aquarium sites with equivilant quality. I really like that it comes with both slip and threaded connections! I will definetly buy this again for any future tank build.

Comes with both slip and FPT flanges. The compact design was just what I needed to replace a metal ball valve in a tight space. The plastic ball valve is a lot easier to turn than the old metal ball valve.

Great ball valve
We were impressed by this valve from the first. It looked tough and beefy for a tough job. We needed it for the main water shut off on our side of the water meter. It was very easy to install and hasn't given us any troubles at all. The shutoff valve works well even after three months in use it still moves with ease.

Really a quality valve. Not made in China but...
Really a quality valve. Not made in China but in Taiwan. Would recommend for any applicable use.
