      Very good value
These straps are for a very specific use: to secure climbing gaffs to your legs. These are entry-level products by Klein (they offer heavier duty/more expensive straps). However, don't let that put off any purchase decision because they are very well made. Buckles are strong and feature a 'roller' to make for easy adjustments. The buckle straps are secured to the buckles with heavy rivets. The straps are treated with a neoprene type product to reduce friction and wear ...and they are non-conductive so working around wires is a bit safer. You can spend more $$ and get more feature-rich straps, but you can not go wrong using these.

      Very well made
After paying to have trees cut down at our cottage in Michigan's northern Thumb that needed to be removed, and then 5 more large cottonwoods that were in a spot where we were building an addition, followed by two more large trees that seemed to be decaying, I decided that thousands spent on tree removal was enough. I don't have a fear of heights, so decided the next tree would be cut down by myself. It's a dead leaner, held up by some white pines. These straps, along with climbing spikes and a climbing harness are exactly what I need. These Klein Tool 1" x 22" straps are very, very well made... strong and secure. They look almost indestructible. The Klein brand is a name that is very trustworthy, especially in electrical tools. These won't disappoint!

      Tree climbing boot straps
The Klein Tools 1 in. x 22 in. Strap for Pole, Tree Climbers is durable and made to fit small to large boots. It fit my size 11 boots with room to spare. It is sized to work well with other Klein pole and tree climbing safety equipment and fit perfectly with my gaff guards. I recommend the straps as I use many Klein products and they have not failed me yet. They also matched well with my boots!

This doesnt describe much what it is used for , but if your a tree climer youll will know what its for, from my understanding theae are for tree climer boots , i got them for a friend that is starting his tree cutting side job. The quality os great and made from neoprene-impregnated , its dense and not as flexible as leather, but feels very well built.

Was missing bolts to put the system together. Returned and bought different set. I understand that gaffs are expensive and these are on the lower end of the price range but I would not buy this product again as the package did not come with the bolts or nuts to attach the spikes to the shaft.
