Perhaps a bad batch?
I used this to try to repair a pinhole in a copper pipe. I prepped, cut a small amount, mixed until uniform color and applied. The material never fully hardened. I was able to cut it off with a knife. To test, I mixed a small batch, and just put it on a piece of paper. After an hour it was still rubbery. Maybe it was a bad batch. Very strange. Unfortunately I cannot recommend it for use in plumbing. In the photo, notice the score marks made with just my fingernail after an hour hardening.

Headphone Repair miracle!
I love this waterweld epoxy putty! I have two expensive pairs of headphones which broke like a cheap pair. One pair are Sony which used very cheap plastic which after about a year nearly shattered, and the other pair used thin aluminum for the frame.
I thought for sure I was going to throw away my headphones, but I seen this putty in the store and tried it. Sure enough I was able to apply the putty around the break and wow it formed a rock hard repair that has lasted longer than the original materials! Thank you so much JB weld!

JB WaterWeld Putty is superb!
Last week, I noticed my basement ceiling was broken with water dripping. A 3" PVC drain pipe appeared to leak from the 90-degree elbow joint place. I called my handyman. Unfortunately, he was too busy to come. I decided to give it a try for a temporary fix. After researching and watching YouTube demos, I bought this 2 oz JB WaterWeld epoxy putty tube. Following the instructions, I fixed my leaking PVC pipe! It has been bone dry after one day. I will keep observing. There is another PVC drain pipe right next to this pipe, indicating that a conventional repair will be challenging and costly. JB WaterWeld epoxy putty solved my problem!

Had such high hopes!
I applied this to a pinhole leak on 1/2 galvanized pipe. I put the whole tube and I'm still getting a slow drip leak. I routed a pex tube from the attic to above the sink to monitor the slow drip and it is still dripping a week and half after applying. I had such high hopes for this, even believing that it would eventually settle and cure even with the slow drip. I have to find another solution as a band aid.

Wish I could get my money back, what a waste
Used this to try and stop a leak where a hose comes in to our portable hot water heater. Used the marine epoxy first, didn’t fix it, added 3 layers of the puddy, still leaks!!! So annoyed.

We cracked the top on a 11 thousand poly water tank. The tank looked ruined until we bought over 70 JB Waterwelds. Now the tank is back in service and holding water. Can not say enough positive about this product!
