            Warm and wears very well
I was just reminding myself of the cost of this flooring, because I'm back for more, when I saw the review about "no good for floors'. Not so in my experience! I am back to buy more for another room's floor after installing it as my kitchen 3 years ago. It looks beautiful, is warm and softish to walk on, and has worn very well indeed. Traffic through my kitchen includes kids, dogs, workmen (construction project getting done and they need access through the kitchen), and there are a ton of things dropped on the floor, including liquids and food. The floors remain immaculate looking. The only imperfection, and it is slight, was caused after one of the dogs left a puddle on the floor over night and it soaked through one of the joins between the boards. The net effect was that a few inches of one of the boards expanded up by a fraction of a millimeter. Nobody would know it was there though, unless inspecting the floor up close. I couldn't be more pleased with my floor.

you can't get it wet - at all
This flooring is installed in a property that we rent, otherwise we would never own it. You cannot get it wet - at all. This includes wet feet when you jump out of the shower, small drips you might have off condensation from a glass you're carrying - nothing. I don't know where on Earth this flooring would be appropriate. We have had to put throw rugs all throughout the house to avoid damage to the finish - which defeats the purpose of living in a place carpet free. We are starting to see damage to the finish from inadvertent exposure to water - from carrying a wet umbrella into the house, to small drips from drying off from the shower. And to clean it, you can only use a mildly damp cloth only to clean up a localized spill "when absolutely necessary" i.e., you cannot mop this floor. I would never, ever install this purposely.
