I bought four of these rugs in various sizes, based on the description (at the time) that they were stain resistant and a review from one person that said that after 7 years their biggest complaint was a yellow dust underneath the rug. Seven years isn't a bad lifespan, I thought. After four months ours do not look good. The yellow dirt she mentioned is from the foam they spray on the bottom, which seeps through in places to the top of the rug. They are not comfortable to walk on and imagining I'm getting a foot massage doesn't help. The worst thing is that you can't shampoo them, so the natural color shows all of the dirt on the border. I'm hoping that once they get a nice uniform soil all around the edge, they might look better. The fabric edges are already getting frayed. When we leave for a couple days, we can still definitely smell the seagrass smell when we return. It doesn't bug me too much, but my husband doesn't like it. I'd definitely pick something else now, given the choice.
