Pretty bathroom fixture _____________________________________________________________________________________ I like that this is stainless-steel because it will stay looking new forever. It has a finely brushed, yet also reflective finish. This fixture is rated for damp locations, which means it can go in bathrooms and on protected exterior walls that have a roof over them. This cannot be exposed to rain and snow. It came with a 3.75 in. round metal mounting ring and all hardware required. It can be hung so the glass shade hangs down or sits up. The base itself is 4.5 x 7 in. The shade extends 2.5 in. beyond the base and the pulley at the other end extends 2 in. beyond the base. The shade is roughly 6 x 4 in. It came packaged very well. The thick clear glass shade had small chips along both edges due to poor finishing. It’s easy to install the shade; just unscrew the collar, insert it over the threads, then screw collar back on. The shade is wide enough that my female hand can easily reach in to change a bulb with room to spare. Add your own bulb. It’s rated for all types- incandescent, LED and CFL max 60 watt with basic type-A base. It is made in China, is UL certified and has a 3-year warranty. This is a stylish and versatile bath fixture that should endure.

If you are looking for a small accent sconce this would fit the bill. If you want to use it as a stand alone it is a very nice design and looks great, but it is also part of a full collection of matching light fixtures that all go together. It doesn't look like a barn door roller that actually moves when you are up close to it, but it looks great! I wired this up to be a bedside light that will mount on the wall and turn on and off with a switch. That way I can put it wherever I want without having to wire a junction box into the wall. As an FYI, the bulb is not included.

I put this vintage looking light on the front stoop of my tool shed where I had just built an awning. Installation was simple. I installed the mounting bracket that came with it to the electrical box and then it was just a matter of wiring the black, white, and ground wires and putting the fixture over the mounting posts and securing it. I used a 60 watt equivalent LED bulb and it lights up the area very well. The fixture looks great and the old vintage style goes well with my shed.

A mounting plate designed to mate perfectly with a standard recessed electrical wall box and all of the required hardware, including large, nicely finished theme matching machined mounting nuts to attach the sconce to the wall, safe, reliable and code compliant wire nuts to make the electrical connections and a well done illustrated parts and assembly procedure guide are all provided. Since my installation was a replacement for an older existing fixture, it only took about ten minutes to completely install it. I am really impressed with the unique theme, that is a great alternative to the “everybody has one” standard colonial carriage lamp look and also the high quality, very nice finish of this lamp. Assembly and later routine cleaning are fast and easy. Those tiny and soon to rust out or fall out small machine screws with the large painted heads so often used to precariously hold delicate glass globes on older and more poorly designed lamp fixtures, that generally require taking a pair of pliers or a screwdriver to them to coax them in or out later for cleaning or globe replacement are gone. This lamp features a very robust, streamlined and very mechanically secure modular assembly consisting of a strong, electrically safe, weather and damage resistant ceramic lamp socket, that is threaded not just on the inside to accept the lightbulb, but also on the outside. You simply push the lamp globe over it, then easily insert and hand tighten a large and good-looking threaded collar to the lamp socket to secure the globe solidly from the inside. Last, simply insert the lightbulb you have selected to fit your own taste to get just the finished look you want. Home Depot features a large lighted bulb selection display so you can find exactly what you like with no guessing. I very much recommend this lamp.

We ordered this sconce fixture from the Depot for our lower level bathroom. My wife chose this sconce because of the design and the color. It came quick and well packaged and included everything I needed to install it but it does not include a lightbulb. Installation was easy since I was replacing an existing sconce light fixture. It is a simple three wire hook up. This sconce looks great and matches well with the rest of the fixture colors in the bathroom. It comes with a clear glass shade, I installed an extra lightbulb I had laying around but I think I’m going to put a decorative lightbulb in later. This fixture can be mounted with the shade facing up or the shade facing down whichever you prefer. The base measures 4 1/2 inches wide by 7 inches tall, overall height of the fixture is about 10 1/2 inches. This is a nice quality fixture from the Home Decorations collection. Exactly what we were looking for.

I received my Home Decorators Collection Sconce today; it's part of the Knollwood lighting collection. This sconce is substantial and is well made. The sconce can be mounted with the clear glass shade in the up or down position. It will work in a damp location, which makes it perfect for the bathroom. You can use up to a 60-watt bulb in it, I plan on using an Edison LED bulb in mine. Overall this is a unique industrial design that, is different from the average everyday lighting.
