20 oz. Wall Orange Peel Low Odor Water Based Texture Spray Paint

I had filled several anchor holes in a texture wall. I had shiny spots and retextured with the spray on super fine. After spraying I used a 12-in blade to knock down the texture a bit and then primed. Much improved.

This product was highly disappointing. Used a whole can and the little spot on the ceiling I was patching looked terrible. I won't but this again.

The spray covered about 3 ft.² at a lifght to medium spray. I kept stopping while I was spraying so I couldn’t get a good flow and then it ran out in about two minutes. Do not buy the stuff. It’s a complete waste of money. I seriously need it to do a light spray for maybe 5 ft.² and it ran out before I even finish that. I just needed to cover the sides of where we removed a mirror and I didn’t even care of that.

I’ve used this product three times, every time hoping for better and blaming myself. This time I’m done with it. The dispenser is terrible, clogging repeatedly and vomiting out huge chunks of the stuff. Good luck trying to clean the nozzle; it gets gummed up leaving the rest of the can unusable. Never, ever, EVER talking myself into it again. $22 of absolute embarrassing product.

Did a 2.5’ x 4.5’ cover up after removing a wall furnace and barely was able to texture that small area heavily. And most defit wasn’t no 50 square feet!! Maybe 10!!

I have used this product a few times over the last 12 years with not so great results. It never goes on evenly, the results vary and a big can does not cover much area. I purchased another can this year to cover small spots in walls and this time the texture actually landed and bubbled or sagged causing weird runny wrinkly globs. Has to be fixed AGAIN. I'm tired of having to purchase more cans to get a tiny project completed or having to redo it over and over with still poor results.

Easy to apply and a beautiful finish

I needed to repair a 2' x 5' section of ceiling. I watched videos on how to apply it. I could not get any more than 12" of spray. I shook each can multiple minutes and then when I sprayed the first can, it only shot a stream 2" away to the cardboard. I went to the other two cans and was able to spray the ceiling. After a few minutes the dimples disappeared and the texture was gone! I ended up applying 4 cans to this site and in frustration stopped.

I followed the instructions and sprayed at a distance of 24"+ in circles. Came out in large chunks more like knock down than orange peel irrespective of the position of the nozzle. There was insufficient material in the can to cover a 16 square feet area.

Followed all the recommendations before applying. Shake the can for 2 minutes, soak in warm water for 20 minutes and test on cardboard. End results: nozzle keeps falling off, spray is not consistent in application, just splatters on in the finest setting. I have used the standard, solvent based version before with good results. This one does not smell, but it does not work either. Do not purchase. Put up with the smell of the solvent spray and get decent results.
