After reading the few reviews on this Gazebo I decided to buy it anyways and I'm glad I did. Three years ago I had purchased a different gazebo made from a different manufacturer so I've had some experience in putting these things up. This particular Hampton Bay Gazebo was a breeze to install compared to the other brand. Everything fit, the instructions made sense (though common sense helps), and the lights worked on the first try. My helpers were my two sons (age 4 and 6) so with their "help" it took 4 hours (could have done it easily in 2). Some words of advice is; take your time and follow the directions to the letter. Even with past experience I did not deviate from them. Use some common sense when putting the tarp on and it will go on as intended. It is supposed to be tight and snug fitting so be steady and firm and you'll be fine. When you first screw on the solar top the top (smaller) tarp will twist a little so just make sure it's straight before moving forward. Follow the pictures for where to plug in the wiring connections. I put this up on my deck and screwed the legs to it. First night up we had a storm (lots of wind and rain... even lost power) but the gazebo held fine. The shortness of the screen panels is a good thing. From past experience if the screen panels touch the ground they will puddle around the posts making them prone to stains and collecting water. These panels are just the right height staying off the ground but won't let bugs in. All in all this was an easy install, looks great, and should last a few years before needing a replacement tarp (they all do). Have fun!
