Bought these for laying tile in my home, totaling about 600 square feet. After about 400 sqft, I noticed my knees were really beginning to bother me and found that the foam in the pads had completely collapsed. I was left to finish the last few hundred feet with paper thin pads (and of course I'd left the basement tile going over concrete for the last). They didn't last long enough to complete my task, and I had to get creative for grouting the tile. They are cheap (in every sense of the word) and are probably still useful for smaller jobs. Beyond that, I'd suggest spending a little more and get a pad that'll last through the job.
