Mandouri 3-Piece Bath Hardware Kit in Chrome

The exbandable towell bar is not quite as sturdy as I would like but other than that pretty good. The finish is very good and a very good product for the money.

The very first thing I noticed about this set was the shipment packaging. See picture. However all the pieces arrived intact and in good shape. The next thing I saw was that the toilet tissue holder I received was not a single prong, but rather a two-prong holder. I don't know why I was sent this piece. I did not install the toilet tissue holder as I would prefer a single pole vs. a double pole tissue holder. Beyond the above, the first thing I observed when I unpacked the set was the weight of each of the pieces. Much more impressive than the sets I have installed yet less expensive. It looks very nice and installed quite easily. Instructions were great. Its matte finish will not show fingerprints.

The chrome finish and knobs on this towel bar set are very attractive with a modern contemporary appearance. The set includes the mounting bracket, screws, wall anchors and template for the towel bar. You will need to provide a drill, screw driver, and level. To install the mounting bracket for the hand towel and toilet paper holders: place the bracket on the wall, use a pen to mark the top and bottom holes, drill the holes with a 1/4" bit, push in the wall anchors, place the bracket over the wall anchors, and use a handheld screw driver to tighten the screws (a drill can sometimes cause the wall anchors to spin and pull back out of the wall). Done in this manner, I find the holders stay very securely against the wall and I am not concerned about them coming loose. For the towel bar, I highly recommend using the paper template: place the template against the wall, use a push pin to hold one side in place, use your level to ensure the paper is straight, and then push a pen through the markings for the desired length. Installing the brackets is same as above, except you'll need to fit the bar into the end piece before tightening the set screw on the second end. My only complaint about this towel bar, and the reason for 4 stars overall, is that the extenders for the 21" and 24" lengths don't fit tightly enough into the bar. I installed the bar as 24" and it sways just slightly downward when I put a towel on the bar. A differently designed or better quality plastic insert piece might be in order.

You can spend several times more on bathroom accessories and the finish will be somewhat better and the metal gage will be somewhat thicker but this set is adequate for most uses and has a pleasant traditional style. The mounting uses common elongated, tapered clips installed with or without drywall anchors and two screws depending on whether the drywall is backed by wood or not. The attachment of the posts is with the tightening of a set screw that has a flat blade screwdriver slot. If you don't have a jeweler's screwdriver or very narrow one (about 1/8 inch wide) you will need one to complete the installation. The template for the towel bar is used for all three installation widths--18, 21, 24 inches. No cutting is required for those widths. Simply add one or both of the extensions for 21 and 24 inches respectively. Having installed dozens of bath accessories over the past decades, I would say this are of average difficulty to install. The posts on the towel ring and TP holder could be a bit longer to hold items away from the wall a bit more. This is probably a minor issues in most cases although jumbo rolls of TP might rub the wall when there is a full roll.

I just love the appearance of these oil rubbed bronze bath fixtures. I recently added these to complete my bathroom transition to this. I can't say enough about the deep rich color and feel of these. These come with instruction and hardware and installation was a breeze. I have many Glacier Bay items in my home and have had no problems with them and they provide a long service life. This is a great matching accessory set for you bathroom. The items have some weight to them, to show good quality. I like that the towel bar has 2 extension options. Also that toilet paper holder is one in which the toilet paper slides on, which makes it easy to change. These items are not included, but you must have: level, tape measurer, drill with 1/4 bit, and a screw driver. The color of this item is chrome (which is shiny silver.) They match together perfectly and make a great set. I would have loved if they had an option to have a matching towel hook either for the wall or back of the door, however this was not an option in the set. Still a great buy! There are matching accessories you can buy separately: 18 inch towel bar, 24 inch towel bar, another expandable towel bar (like the one in this set), a 24 inch double towel bar, another towel right, another toilet paper holder, and a double robe hook that hangs on the wall.

A really good bathroom hardware replacement set at this price point. One of the things I really like about this is the tight fitting mounting brackets. A lot of the time the tolerances are too loose and they don't securely fit onto the knobs. For this set it was not the case, they where very tight and I don't see them moving. The finish is nice though its more a semi-shiny finish vs matte. Personally in the bathroom the finish will hide fingerprints a bit more. It was easy to install with included templates you can tape to the wall. One negative is the bar towel holder. Its a thinner type of metal and seemed not a sturdy as the other pieces. The bar towel does come with optional extensions so you can choose from 18" up, but adding them.

Got this for the bathroom off my bedroom as it is a smaller room and the towel rack is adjustable. Great feature. Two extensions go in each end of the towel bar. You can make it 18 inches long or 21 inches and if you insert both extensions it will measure 24 inches long. A feature that is a plus. The extensions fit snug in each end. Each extension is 4 inches long. Love this type of toilet paper holder. Been wanting one like this and so glad I got it. So much easier just to slide a new roll on. The one I have has the spring inside and of course if you are in a hurry and do not put it on right it pops back out. So with this one slide the toilet paper on and that is it. If your toilet paper comes off I saw where someone said to put a rubber band on the holder and this will keep it from doing that. Especially with kids where they roll it off real fast. The towel ring can be used for a wash cloth, hand towel or full size bath towel. I had a wooden one and it needed to be painted or some stain on it. But all you need to clean these is a cloth and water. Very easy to clean. All pieces are constructed with zinc base material for lasting durability. Hardware you will need to mount all 3 pieces are included in the box. Also included is plastic anchors. Installation is easy. You will have to have tools is all. I love the brush nickel finish. Very modern looking. So far I have found all 3 pieces to be very sturdy. My other towel rack was not sturdy and was not tight fitting to the wall but these pieces fit tight and secure. I really like that the pieces look so nice in the bathroom. The screws are concealed which is a nice feature. Overall I am very glad I chose this 3 piece bathroom set. Looks nice in my smaller bathroom and is made to last. Would look very nice of course in a larger bathroom also. I have noticed so far that I am not the only one that replaces the toilet paper now. Just slide a new toilet paper roll on. Now that is easy so no excuses as to why anyone else can not do that. The only tool you will need to install everything is a small screw driver. You won't be disappointed in the 3 piece set as it is a warm grey color which will accent your bathroom.

My pictures don't do the chrome look justice. I also got the matching 24" double towel bar (pic included). This hardware set is great looking and nice quality. Installation is easy and bases attach to the mounting hardware with a mini-flat-head screwdriver. Comes with templates and plastic drywall anchors. The 18" bar has extensions to increase to 24", but I didn't use them. Less boring looking than brushed nickel!
