GE All Purpose Window and Door Silicone 1 caulking is also formulated to resist stain-causing mold and mildew growth, and it comes with a seven-year mold-free product protection. Use this versatile sealant on windows, doors, siding, trim, molding, baseboards, vents, basements, attics, and around wires and pipes. Won’t dry

We are sorry to hear that our product did not work as you expected. What you described is not characteristic of GE All-Purpose Silicone 1 Window & Door Sealant. It is possible that the product may have expired. Expired product may have a much slower cure time or may not cure at all. As with all items sold through retailers, a product exhibiting an issue should be returned to the place of purchase for exchange or refund.

inconsistent color
Have been buying white for siding work, 2-3 tubes at a time. The most recent batch was inconsistent in color. While not truly clear, the first 40% of the tube came out clear, then changed to the correct white. If I didn't need to finish today, I would have returned it

GE all purpose silicone

complete garbage. not owned or manufactured by GE.
*** GE does not own or manufacture this product! Owned by Henkel **** This product is complete garbage. Sets up so fast it can’t be tooled. 1/4 leaked out and damaged my caulking gun. Cant get it off the tub. Phone support is useless. Never had issues with caulking like this. Costing me hours in time trying to remove it from an acrylic tub that is brand new. Losing days of productivity and a working bathroom. Save yourself headache and don’t buy.

Seems good.
They make a more expensive specifically for tubs but this some seems perfectly good, just mind the 12 hour wait before getting it wet.

works good for first time use
I used this to caulk around a hole that I ran my home security camera wires through from the outside of my garage to the inside. The caulking itself was good and it has withstood the harsh weather for the last few months. The thing I disliked about this product was that it didn’t want to come out of the tube very easy the next time I went to use it. It did meet my expecations for my project but I would have expected it to be easier to use again, even going through proper steps. The caulk ended up coming out the back of the tube and made a mess. Please hit thumbs up if this was helpful.
