This is a simple decive and not always easy to find. My wife and i travel by air and this always two people to share the same outpot device such as a MP3 player or CD player. You plug the outputs in to the device and it gives you two separate sets of jacks for headphine, one for each person. Each person can then plug in indedpendently and hear the music. It is simple to use, no WIFI or bluetooth neded, it just workd.

This item easily converts a single jack into a dual RCA plug. It has nickel-plated connectors and is a male to female design. It’s a RCA dual plug to 3.5mm jack RCA adaptor. I needed this to to use for surround sound system. I had purchased a new tv and for some reason the usual connectors did not work so had to figure out a way to remedy this and this was my option. Recently, I found an old shortwave radio but the speaker sounded terrible - I am told that this was mostly due to dry-rot. It had a headphones jack, so I rigged up a cable with a headphone jack on one end and a male RCA jack on the other end. I then connected it to my stereo using this single to dual "Y" adapter as the last leg. I am now able to listen to shortwave, but I'm not really finding it very interesting. Nevertheless, I'm happy I was able to revive this relic.
