A: Hi - Thanks for reaching out to us. The PEB9159SJSS is still available currently. If your existing built-in kit is a 30" JX9153SJSS or the 27" JX9152JSS. Either are compatible with the PEB9159SJSS which is currently available. To use a different model microwave like the PEB7227ANDD with the appropriate optional built-in kit designed for that model, you will likely need to make changes to the cutout in your existing cabinetry. A: Hello - The PEB9159SJSS would make a great addition to your home. You would need to purchase a new trim kit and use the new hardware that's included with the new unit for safety purposes. The trim kit options for PEB9159SJSS are 27" Built-In Kit JX9152SJSS, or 30" Built-In Kit JX9153SJSS. Garbage.
Pretty but doesn’t work. Stainless interior nice. Very sweaty microwave and stainless steel had marks everywhere after 6 months that cleaner didn’t clean. Broke less than 2 years no heating value.

Poor Quality
Love the countertop design but POOR quality!
The plate inside the microwave kept spinning even without starting the microwave timer. Then the plate stopped spinning even the timer kickedoff. Eventually the microwave was totally broken (not heating the food).

Excellent features
Conventional and microwave oven both work perfect. I mounted it on top of my gas oven, with the frame it looks like one unit. All safety features are awesome.

Features good but disappointed with quality
Features and functionality are good but disappointed with quality. Unit arrived with a dent and upper left hand corner and oven door slightly out of alignment. There was no damage apparent from shipping so I’m assuming it must have been dropped or otherwise damaged at factory prior to packaging for delivery. I opted not to return as unit was needed to support holiday cooking for visiting family and there was not enough time to get a replacement or refund. Also disappointed that GE not longer produces the 2.1 cf model in a stainless steel finish. Would have preferred to replace the unit that failed (6 years old) with an identical size and finish but was unable to because they no longer offer that model.

Bad installation of insulation
The actual appliance works great at both microwaving and baking, but after only a couple years owning it, the insulation in the door has come out of the corner so it doesn’t look nice anymore.

Sad it only lasted 2yrs
We installed this microwave in 10/21 and have loved it until a month ago. The display is not functioning fully and now some of the Keys on the keyboard aren’t working and we noticed every day or so another stops working. We have owned GE products for many years and still have our Refrigerator, washer, dryer, Oven, Convection cook top and dishwasher with minimal issues. This is upsetting because for the price we paid we expected more from this unit!
