      • My Link system is working perfectly now, but it took a bit to get it there. I bought the Link Starter Kit two days ago and tried to get it running yesterday. The Wink App downloaded to my iPhone 4S without a problem, but, for the life of me, I could not connect to the hub. The required QuirkySetup-xxxx network appeared briefly on the wifi settings screen on my phone but disappeared making it impossible to connect to the hub.I called Customer Service today (1-844-946-5277), and they told me to reset the hub by holding in the button on the bottom of the hub for 10 seconds. This didn't work, so we thought I had a defective hub. Before bringing it back to Home Depot, I tried holding it in for 20 seconds. This worked! QuirkySetup-xxxx appeared on my iPhone, and the rest of the installation went smoothly. Bottom line, if you are having trouble connecting to the hub, hold the reset button in for at least 20 seconds.One other thing to be aware of is the possible time lag between a scheduled Event and its actually happening. I wanted to test using the system to turn a bulb on and then off at specific times. I set the "On" Event for 3:45 PM and the "Off" Event for two minutes later. 3:45 PM came and went without the bulb's coming on. I thought the system wasn't working, but then the bulb came on. It was about 3-4 minutes late. Two minutes later, the bulb went off as scheduled. It turns out that the "Events" are scheduled on some computer in the "Cloud", not in the hub itself and this can cause slight delays in Events happening. Customer Service told me that this delay seems to get shorter as you use the system more.I am now very pleased with this system. It works just as I wanted it to, and it is a great value for the money. Customer Service has been excellent. They have all been very friendly and extremely knowledgeable.
