The cover was NOT screwed to the grill base

Response from Flame King agentSep 8, 2023
That is correct, the cover is not supposed to be screwed into the grill base. It is designed to be screwed into the counter top lip where cooktop is dropped into. This is an RV cook top.

The stove only has high and low settings and the low is too high for any real cooking. It does say this in sales ad but somehow I took it that it was adjustable between high and low.
