A: absolutely....I used for rescuing another person that fell into a 1200 ft. ravine. 2 adults weighing 328 pounds each. Twine is very strong, and resists any abrasion.

A: Definitely. Used by Air Force and Navy SAR helicopters to hoist up downed pilots. Worked great pulling my friend’s F-250 stuck in a ditch, using the winch on the front of my Unimog.

I used it to tie up plants. It didn’t need much strength, however, it worked fine.

This twine works well with my hop plants. They can grip it really well and it is bio degradable because I can't really untangle it from the hops at the end of the season so it all goes in the compost.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. I am a homeowner with plenty of trees in the yard. I am a do it yourself kind of guy; I will trim branches and cut them into 4' lengths and use binders twine to put them into compact bundles to make it easy for the trash folks to pick them up. I have tried many different types of binders twine over the years, and my biggest complaint is line breaking. Many times there would be thin areas of the twine that would be weak and snap while I was tightening the twine around the bundles of branches and twigs. It did not happen with this Everbilt Jute Twine. The manufacturing is very consistent; the whole length of twine is strong all the way through. I was so happy with this stuff that I was compelled to write my first review. It has a 7LB rating, but it feels even stronger. If I could do it over again I would buy the biggest package available because it goes 190' goes quickly. Any do it yourself homeowner needs plenty of this product in their tool shed or garage.

It's not super strong, but it's usually strong enough for tying up plants in the garden, training vines and so on. Plus it eventually decomposes so you don't have to worry too much about clean up.
This twine is soft and easy to work with. Ideal for light-duty applications. 100% cotton construction with no chemicals or dyes makes this household twine safe and friendly to the environment.
Sisal bundling twine hard natural fiber has many characteristics of manila but offers 80% of its strength. Sisal is more economical than manila. Sisal has good knot-holding ability. Chemicals will cause sisal to deteriorate. Provides great knot holding ability and is sunlight resistance. Ideal for bundling, crafts and gardening. Warning: Do not use in situations where personal safety could be endangered. Never use this product to secure large flat surfaces or objects that could "airplane". Misuse could result in serious injury or death.
