Q:Set to 'dusk to dawn', 5 minutes, range = max. There hasn't been any motion yet they stay on full power at 2400 lumens. Any suggestions to get these to 50% power when there is no motion? Soffit mounted.

A:  1. Function description: According to this consumer's setting, the sensor is set to Dusk to Dawn mode, the full-bright delay time is 5 minutes, and the sensor sensitivity is set to the maximum. Then the lamp maintains low-level brightness throughout the night when no human movement is detected. , switch to full brightness after sensing human activity, delay 5 minutes to switch back to low brightness after the person leaves, and turn off the lights at dawn. 2. Possible cause analysis: Consumers reported that the light has always been on at full brightness. It is probably because the maximum sensitivity is set to detect distant moving people or moving vehicles, or it is affected by the warm air flow from the outdoor unit of the air conditioner or the exhaust vent of the dryer. Activity triggers the sensor so the light stays on; 3. Suggested solutions: 1) Consumers are asked to reduce the sensitivity to 5FT and confirm whether the lamp will continue to be fully bright? If the problem can be solved, consumers are asked to appropriately reduce the sensor sensitivity; 2) If the lamp still continues to be fully bright after adjusting the sensitivity, please adjust the detection direction of the sensor to avoid detecting vehicles driving on the road. ​

    Q:The light has been on 24/7 for a couple of weeks. Killing the power at the breaker for a length of time has not helped. The manual does not address this issue. Any suggestions on how to reset the sensor for this issue?

    A:  If it is set to 3Hr, 5Hr or Dusk to Dawn mode, and the lamp is installed in a relatively dark location, and there is insufficient light around the sensor, the lamp will remain on at a low level of brightness. Consumers are requested to: 1. Set the sensor to OFF mode to confirm whether the light will go out; 2. Please turn off the power for more than 5 seconds during the day and then turn it back on to confirm whether the light will go out after 1 minute; 3. Consumers are asked to take a photo of the usage environment and sensor setting mode for us to confirm and analyze the reasons. you can send the picture to p.xiong@nvc-international.com

        A:  We speculate that the possible reasons are: 1. In the evening, because the surrounding light is too bright, the sensor determines that it is still daytime, so the lights are not turned on at dusk. When the surrounding light further decreases and reaches the threshold for the sensor to start lighting, the light will automatically turn on when human activity is detected. Light up. Consumers are asked to confirm whether there are other lamps near this sensor light that affect its operation. Please turn off the surrounding lamps to see if this problem still exists. 2. Please confirm which function each knob of the sensor is set to. Please provide some photos of the installation environment, videos of abnormal working conditions, and photos of the settings of each knob. So that we can accurately analyze the reasons.
